By bike: There are mulitple routes to get to Alyth by bike. A bike shed with space for hanging up to four bikes is at the end of the lane, very close to the house.

By train: The closest train stations to Alyth are Dunkeld & Birnam, about 19 miles (30 km) away, Dundee, about 18 miles (29 km) away and Invergowrie, about 16 miles (25 km) away. For timetables and fares check the Scotrail website. By bus: Ember runs electric bus services from Edinburgh or Glasgow to Dundee, which carry bikes for free. Inchture is the best stop to get off. You can book tickets and bike spaces online here. From the airport in Edinburgh: The best way to travel from the airport in Edinburgh by public transport is to take the tram one stop to the Ingliston Park & Ride, then switch to the Ember bus service to Dundee, and take the Stagecoach service from there to Alyth. Alternatively you can take the FLY service from Edinburgh Airport to Dundee - times can be found here. 

By car: The best places to park your car while staying are Market Square, which also has electric car chargers, and Commercial Street. Please note there are no parking facilities provided at the property, you have to carry your luggage to the house.
